Game Symbols

As the town celebrates appropriately decorated and launching fireworks, you’ll find the usual array of high-paying themed symbols along with standard playing card icons which deliver smaller wins. Mixing with merry Partygoers could prove highly profitable, as well as tasting the delicious-looking Turkey or the sumptuous Christmas Pudding. As the Clock is ticking in anticipation, you’ll be looking around for Champagne bottles which will make you dizzy before you even take a sip.
Wrapped Gift Box is your Wild and will stand in for all other symbols apart from the Scatter. It not only acts as substitute but can also deliver generously on its own, provided you land 3 or more.

Gameplay

Holiday Season is a 5 reel, 10 payline slot allowing you to bet as little as $0.01 and up to $100 per spin. Lines are flexible so you can choose to play with less if you wish. Set your bet size by selecting coin value from $0.01 to $2 and up to 5 coins per line.

Winning combinations are formed in the usual way. You need to get 3 or more identical symbols to appear consecutively on a payline, starting with the leftmost reel. After landing a winning combo, you can boost your prize by using Gamble option. Guess the colour or suit of next card in line and you could double or quadruple your win.
Autoplay option allows you to spin up to 50 times automatically while giving you several options to terminate them earlier. It can be stopped automatically on any win, in case free spins are won, if the amount won exceeds certain value and if balance increases or decreases by a set amount.

Bonus Features

Scatter is depicted as a Champagne bottle and landing 3 or more will trigger Win Spins feature. Your 5 free spins will come with a guarantee of at least 1 winning line each. For each new Scatter symbol you manage to spin during this bonus round, you’ll get 2 additional free spins. Feature can be re-trigger to a total of 3 Win Spins which means you could enjoy up to 20 spins for free.

Payouts

Holiday Season is a highly volatile game paying up to an impressive amount of 500,000 coins. Be careful with your stakes, though! Otherwise you might quickly gamble away your Christmas turkey as well as all of the prezzies.
Base game itself can also deliver some nice surprises, though on a smaller scale. Unwrapping the Gift Boxes will pay 1,000 coins if you manage to land 5 of these symbols on a payline. The two merry partygoers will cash out 750 or 500 coins for the same.

Verdict

Holiday Season by Play ‘N Go is a simple slot whichever way you look at it. Graphics and sound effects are nice but hardly the most impressive we’ve seen. There is only one special feature, on top of the usual Wild symbol. Bet range should suit just about anybody, allowing bets as small as $0.1, even when playing all 10 paylines. Those who prefer to bet big can choose to stake up to $100 per spin, though be warned you’re playing a high volatility game and your stash could dry up pretty quickly.

Wild prezzies tend to appear quite often to help form winning combinations while landing 3+ Scatters seems to be a tad more difficult. However, if you do manage to get them, it can be highly rewarding. Big fans of good champagne ourselves, we were never more eager to grab those bottles than now. Lady luck was not on our side but she might be on yours. So join the party, pop up the champagne bottle and this year Christmas might come early.
