Magic Flood is fresh simple slot, released in September 2016 by Octavian Gaming. This is basically your classic fruity with a twist, so get ready to see fruit symbols and lucky sevens spinning to the background jazz music. Looking at the screen, with reels set against what appears to be a female behind dressed in jeans, the slot doesn’t seem to support a specific theme. Unless the reels get flooded with Sevens, which would be kind of magical.
Octavian Gaming is an Italian company based in Verona, with a portfolio counting about 80 casino games. Most of them are slots and many deliver attractive graphics, smooth animations and interesting in-game bonuses. One of their latest releases, Dream Set Black, is actually a quartet of video slots featuring entertaining gameplay, creative features and high payouts.
Launching the game, you’ll see reels containing traditional slot machine icons. Red Seven is your most valuable one, followed by the same symbol in blue and green plus a bunch of various fruits. There is no Wild icon but watch out for Gold Star, it has a special function.
Magic Flood is a 5-reel game with 10 fixed paylines. The only thing to do before you start spinning is choose your bet size. Selecting line bet from $0.01 to $2 allows you to spin for as little as $0.1 and up to $20. Winning combinations pay left to right, when identical symbols land on a payline consecutively.
Autoplay function enables hands-free spinning and MaxBet button lets you stake the maximum amount in just one click.
While there is no Wild icon to help you form winning combos, game does offer a Scatter symbol to benefit from. Get 2 Golden Stars to appear on reels 1 and 5 and you’ll trigger the Rise Up feature. When this feature activates, it will turn Scatters and randomly chosen symbols into the highest value one. Whatever happens, you are always guaranteed a win.
Each time you land a winning combination, you can boost your win using Gamble mode. There are 2 to choose from: card game and a pinball machine. The first one is fairly familiar, letting you pick suits to double the amount won. Second one is not seen often and can deliver higher win multipliers. When the ball hits x3 or x5 bouncers a certain amount of times, your wins will be multiplied accordingly.
The highest paying base game symbol is the Red Seven. It will cash out 50x your total stake or up to $1,000 when you land 5 on a payline. While Rise Up feature could help achieve high paying combos, Gamble function allows you to quintuple your win.
If you’re into classic fruities, you’re likely to enjoy spinning the reels of Magic Flood. Standard gameplay is spiced up by a symbol-upgrade feature with a guaranteed win and an innovative gamble option which can be both fun and rewarding. Entry barrier is quite low, with only $0.1 needed to spin the reels. High rollers, on the other hand, are hardy likely to be impressed with the maximum stake of $20.
Call us spoilt, but we actually like themed packages which this slot doesn’t deliver. Its name, visuals and sound effects all seem to come from a different story. But hey, if you only care about what reels will deliver and enjoy landing traditional symbols, do give it a try. Go fruity and perhaps you will experience a magic flood of winnings.
